My mama found me outside some mean man's house (she calls him a "neighbor") in a tiny little cage. I had taken to living in a very tiny space in this cage because my back legs hurt, and I think it was because the bottom of my cage was so wet. Mama says my back legs had "urine scalding", but I don't know what that is...all I know is they hurt, and all my pretty white fur was yellow. I was only six weeks old. Mama says my birthday was around March 27th of this year, whatever that means. All I know is I live with my Mama and Daddy now, in a nice, dry, really BIG cage, and have all the hay and pellets and water I can ever DREAM of!! (That mean man never fed me or gave me water...I was so hungry and thirsty!!)

Mama is so wonderful, she brought me here to my new home, and put me in something she called a "large cat carrier", and I got to dry off, have lots of hay and water, sleep all I wanted, and just lounge around. I didn't have to worry about wetness anymore...and I could do whatever I wanted! I was so little that I was able to binky in this little carrier!!

Then Mama took me to see this lady. She trimmed all my tummy, leg, and tail fur so I could have an easier job at bathing (which I was already trying to do), and told Mama how old I was (and that thing about "urine scalding").

Mama couldn't think of a name for me right away. She started by calling me "Pokie", she said it was short for "poquito" (it's Spanish for "a little bit", she said), but I didn't like it. When she called me Flower, I got all excited and couldn't stop binkying (which happens a lot).

I'm so happy to have a mama...I get kisses from her (and my Daddy) whenever they are near my cage, they pet me every time they see me, and I love to lay next to Mama when I get to come out of my cage and run around. Life is so exciting!!

Oh, and I even have a sister!! Her name is Maisie...and she's SO pretty! She's gray, and I can't wait to meet her...when we're both "spayed", Mama says. :oD
